Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Eastern Musketeers (Pekin, IN) and the host Austin Eagles (Austin, IN), saw Eastern's basketball squad knock off Austin by a count of 71-55.

With the victory, Eastern upgrades its record to 4-8 on the campaign. The Musketeers travel to North Harrison (Ramsey, IN) to play the Cougars in a Mid-Southern challenge on Friday, January 12. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 0-10. North Harrison lost 69-19 in their recent league challenge against Scottsburg (Scottsburg, IN)

Next up, the Eagles play the Borden Braves (Borden, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 12. Austin will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 38-33 non-league loss to North Daviess (Elnora, IN).
