Hoboken Redwings (Hoboken, NJ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Beloved Community Charter Owls (Jersey City, NJ), 54-21 in a league bout.

With the win, Hoboken upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Redwings host Cliffside Park (Cliffside Park, NJ) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Monday, January 8. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Cliffside Park lost 63-51 in their recent non-league bout against Fair Lawn (Fair Lawn, NJ)

Next up, the Owls play the Ferris Bulldogs (Jersey City, NJ) in a Hudson County - National bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Beloved Community Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 58-51 league loss to McNair Academic (Jersey City, NJ).
