The Nathan Hale Raiders basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Bishop Blanchet Bears to 60 in the Raiders league triumph on Saturday.
The Raiders now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rainier Beach for a 3A Metro contest on Tuesday, January 9. Nathan Hale will meet a Vikings team coming off a 61-54 league loss to Eastside Catholic (Sammamish, WA). The Vikings record now stands at 5-5.
The Bears (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Garfield (Seattle, WA). The Bulldogs enter the 3A Metro contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Garfield was nudged by O'Dea (Seattle, WA), 60-52, in a league contest.
