The Deering Rams (Portland, ME) basketball felled the visiting Bonny Eagle Scots (Standish, ME), 63-50 in Saturday's league test.

The Rams (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Portland (Portland, ME). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Portland was beaten by Windham (Windham, ME), 52-47, in a league test.

The Scots now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Oxford Hills for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 9. Bonny Eagle will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 73-52 non-league loss to Lawrence (Fairfield, ME). The Vikings record now stands at 3-4.
