The Columbus Academy Vikings basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the host Buckeye Valley Barons to 31 in the Vikings league victory on Saturday.

The Vikings now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Horizon Science Academy for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 10. Columbus Academy will battle a Hawks team coming off a 71-47 non-league win over Centennial (Columbus, OH). The Hawks record now stands at 6-6.

The Barons (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Pleasant (Marion, OH). The Spartans come into the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Pleasant was defeated by Marion Harding (Marion, OH), 61-47, in a league contest.
