The Santa Fe Trail Chargers basketball team (Carbondale, KS), dropped 58-46 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Burlington Wildcats (Burlington, KS)
The Wildcats now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Osawatomie for a Pioneer battle on Tuesday, January 9. Burlington will battle a Trojans team coming off a 74-63 league loss to Iola (Iola, KS). The Trojans record now stands at 3-4.
The Chargers (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Wellsville (Wellsville, KS). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 5-1 record. In their last battle, Wellsville beat Anderson County (Garnett, KS), 68-63, in a non-league battle.
