Old Fort Stockaders (Old Fort, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Calvert Senecas (Tiffin, OH), 56-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Old Fort upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Stockaders travel to St. Joseph Central Catholic (Fremont, OH) to clash with the Crimson Streaks in a Sandusky Bay - River bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Crimson Streaks go into the bout with a record of 4-5. St. Joseph Central Catholic lost 68-50 in their recent league bout against New Riegel (New Riegel, OH)

Next up, the Senecas clash with the Gibsonburg Golden Bears (Gibsonburg, OH) in a Sandusky Bay - River bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Calvert will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Golden Bears go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 74-29 league win over Danbury (Lakeside, OH).
