Tennessee High School Basketball - Central Magnet knocked off by Cannon County

The Cannon County Lions basketball team scored 76 points and held the host Central Magnet to 66 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Lions now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grundy County for a 2A District 9 contest on Tuesday, January 9. Cannon County will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 56-50 league win over Forrest (Chapel Hill, TN). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 12-1.
The (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Franklin County (Winchester, TN). The Rebels enter the 3A District 8 contest with a 6-10 record. In their last contest, Franklin County ran past Lincoln County (Fayetteville, TN), 54-53, in a non-league contest.
