Chapel Hill Panthers (Douglasville, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mays Raiders (Atlanta, GA), 75-65 in a league bout.
With the win, Chapel Hill upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Panthers host Lithia Springs (Lithia Springs, GA) to play the Lions in a AAAAA Region 5 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 7-8. Lithia Springs won 46-44 in their recent league bout against Banneker (College Park, GA)
Next up, the Raiders play the Midtown Knights (Atlanta, GA) in a AAAAA Region 5 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Mays will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 74-64 league loss to Tri-Cities (East Point, GA).
