The Churchill County Greenwave tipped the visiting Spring Creek Spartans basketball team by a final score of 70-67 in Saturday's league game.

In their next game, the Greenwave face the Lowry Buckaroos (Winnemucca, NV) in a 3A Northern - East game, on Friday, January 12. Churchill County will attempt to move on its 8-9 season record. The Buckaroos enter the game with a 9-7 record after their 56-33 league loss to Elko (Elko, NV).

With the defeat, Spring Creek moves to 12-3 on the year. The Spartans travel to Dayton (Dayton, NV) to face the Dust Devils in a 3A Northern - East game on Friday, January 12. The Dust Devils enter the game with a record of 4-9. Dayton lost 70-43 in their recent league game against Fernley (Fernley, NV)
