Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Oak Ridge Wildcats (Oak Ridge, TN) and the visiting Cleveland Blue Raiders (Cleveland, TN), saw Oak Ridge's basketball squad knock off Cleveland by a count of 69-53.

With the victory, Oak Ridge upgrades its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Halls (Knoxville, TN) to play the Red Devils in a 4A District 3 challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 7-10.

Next up, the Blue Raiders play the McMinn County Cherokees (Athens, TN) in a 4A District 5 challenge, on Friday, January 12. Cleveland will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Cherokees come into the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 72-66 non-league win over Murphy (Murphy, NC).
