The Douglas Tigers basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Spanish Springs Cougars to 53 in the Tigers league victory on Saturday.
With the victory, Douglas upgrades its record to 4-12 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV) to play the Mustangs in a 4A Northern bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 14-2. Damonte Ranch won 71-54 in their recent league bout against McQueen (Reno, NV)
Next up, the Cougars play the McQueen Lancers (Reno, NV) in a 4A Northern bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Spanish Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Lancers come into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 71-54 league loss to Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV).
