The Fannin County Rebels (Blue Ridge, GA) basketball crushed the host Haralson County Rebels (Tallapoosa, GA), 77-44 in Saturday's league test.
The Rebels (7-7) will now prepare for their test against Murray County (Chatsworth, GA). The Indians go into the AA Region 7 test with a 9-5 record. In their last test, Murray County was trounced by Northwest Whitfield (Tunnel Hill, GA), 48-44, in a non-league test.
The Rebels now own a 5-9 record. They play next when they host Temple for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 9. Haralson County will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 74-62 non-league loss to Northgate (Newnan, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 8-6.
