Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Fleming County Panthers (Flemingsburg, KY) and the visiting Mason County Royals (Maysville, KY), saw Fleming County's basketball squad hold off Mason County by a tally of 61-58.

With the victory, Fleming County improves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Bath County (Owingsville, KY) to play the Wildcats in a District 61 challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 4-12.

Next up, the Royals play the Campbell County Camels (Alexandria, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Mason County will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record.
