The Red Devils (10-10) will now prepare for their test against Sand Rock (Leesburg, AL). The Wildcats go into the 2A Area 12 test with a 2-16 record. In their last test, Sand Rock got by Cedar Bluff (Cedar Bluff, AL), 70-58, in a non-league test.

The Rams now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they host Plainview for a 3A Area 14 test on Tuesday, January 9. Sylvania will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 65-57 non-league loss to Guntersville (Guntersville, AL). The Bears record now stands at 15-4.
