Texas High School Basketball - Wichita Christian overwhelmed by Holy Cross Academy

The Holy Cross Academy Mustangs basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the visiting Wichita Christian Stars to 36 in the Mustangs league victory on Saturday.
The Mustangs now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Accelerate Christian for a TAPPS 1A District 1 contest on Friday, January 12. Holy Cross Academy will battle a Warriors team coming off a 34-33 league loss to Christ Academy (Wichita Falls, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 3-14.
The Stars (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Petrolia (Petrolia, TX). The Pirates come into the non-league contest with a 12-11 record. In their last contest, Petrolia triumphed over Saint Jo (Saint Jo, TX), 52-44, in a non-league contest.
