The Lyman Eagles (Lyman, WY) basketball nipped the visiting Hot Springs County Bobcats (Thermopolis, WY), 34-31 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Eagles (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Pinedale (Pinedale, WY). The Wranglers go into the 3A Southwest test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Pinedale got by Hot Springs County (Thermopolis, WY), 61-43, in a non-league test.
The Bobcats now own a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Pinedale for a non-league test on Saturday, January 6. Hot Springs County will encounter a Wranglers squad coming off a 58-44 non-league win over Buffalo (Buffalo, WY). The Wranglers record now stands at 4-3.
