In Saturday's league outing, the Skyline Spartans (Sammamish, WA) basketball squad edged the host Issaquah Eagles (Issaquah, WA), by a count of 59-57.

The Spartans (8-4) will now prepare for their outing against Redmond (Redmond, WA). The Mustangs go into the 4A KingCo outing with a 5-9 record. In their last outing, Redmond was tipped by Bothell/Inglemoor (Bothell, WA), 64-62, in a non-league challenge.

Next up, the Eagles play the North Creek Jaguars (Bothell, WA) in a 4A KingCo challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Issaquah will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 54-51 league loss to Woodinville (Woodinville, WA).
