Alaska High School Basketball - Kodiak overwhelmed by Soldotna

The Soldotna Stars basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the host Kodiak Bears to 48 in the Stars league victory on Saturday.

The Stars now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Colony for a 4A Northern Lights contest on Thursday, January 11.

The Bears (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Lathrop (Fairbanks, AK). The Malemutes come into the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Lathrop triumphed over Colony (Palmer, AK), 65-63, in a non-league contest.
