The Maeser Prep Academy Lions basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Parowan Rams to 58 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Lions now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rowland Hall for a 2A Region 17 contest on Wednesday, January 10. Maeser Prep Academy will battle a Winged Lions team coming off a 62-44 non-league loss to Summit Academy (Bluffdale, UT). The Winged Lions record now stands at 2-9.

The Rams (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Beaver (Beaver, UT). The Beavers enter the 2A Region 18 contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Beaver was nudged by Kanab (Kanab, UT), 60-47, in a league contest.
