Negreet Indians (Negreet, LA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Zwolle Hawks (Zwolle, LA), 61-56 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Negreet upgrades its record to 20-2 on the campaign. The Indians host Converse (Converse, LA) to play the Wildcats in a B District 3 bout on Thursday, January 11. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 3-27.

Next up, the Hawks play the Stanley Panthers (Logansport, LA) in a B District 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Zwolle will attempt to upgrade on its 21-2 season record.
