With the victory, Troup County improves its record to 6-7 on the campaign. The Tigers host Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA) to play the Wildcats in a AAAA Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 9-5. Whitewater lost 60-57 in their recent league challenge against LaGrange (LaGrange, GA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Trinity Christian Lions (Sharpsburg, GA) in a AAAA Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. North Clayton will attempt to improve on its 3-10 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 68-64 league loss to Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA).
