The White Plains Wildcats (Anniston, AL) basketball knocked off the host Piedmont Bulldogs (Piedmont, AL), 50-30 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (13-7) will now prepare for their test against Cherokee County (Centre, AL). The Warriors go into the 4A Area 10 test with a 0-11 record. In their last test, Cherokee County went down by Etowah (Attalla, AL), 53-43, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 9-6 record. They play next when they host Jacksonville for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 9. Piedmont will encounter a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 56-50 non-league win over Ramsay (Birmingham, AL). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 13-5.
