Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Shikellamy overwhelmed by Shamokin Area

The Shamokin Area Indians basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Shikellamy Braves to 34 in the Indians league victory on Saturday.
The Indians now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Mountain for a Heartland I contest on Wednesday, January 10. Shamokin Area will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 62-50 league win over Milton (Milton, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-2.
The Braves (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Selinsgrove (Selinsgrove, PA). The Seals come into the Heartland I contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Selinsgrove was routed by Williamsport (Williamsport, PA), 60-48, in a non-league contest.
