With the victory, Serra upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Padres host Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, CA) to play the Crusaders in a bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 14-6. Archbishop Riordan lost 58-55 in their recent league bout against St. Ignatius College Preparatory (San Francisco, CA)

Next up, the Monarchs play the Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish (San Francisco, CA) in a bout, on Friday, January 12. Archbishop Mitty will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
