The Elko Indians basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the host Lowry Buckaroos to 27 in the Indians non-league victory on Saturday.
The Indians now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Wendover for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 11. Elko will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 47-1 league win over Sierra Lutheran (Carson City, NV). The Wolverines record now stands at 11-1.
The Buckaroos (1-12) will now prepare for their contest against Churchill County (Fallon, NV). The Greenwave come into the contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, Churchill County prevailed over Spring Creek (Spring Creek, NV), 62-34, in a non-league contest.
