The Puyallup Vikings basketball team (Puyallup, WA), was nudged 51-48 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Sumner Spartans (Sumner, WA)
The Spartans now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Emerald Ridge for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 10. Sumner will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 46-28 non-league win over Rogers (Puyallup, WA). The Jaguars record now stands at 6-5.
The Vikings (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Bellarmine Prep (Tacoma, WA). The Lions come into the non-league battle with a 6-8 record. In their last battle, Bellarmine Prep edged South Kitsap (Port Orchard, WA), 50-43, in a non-league battle.
