The Albert Lea Tigers basketball team (Albert Lea, MN), was overwhelmed 70-34 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting John Marshall Rockets (Rochester, MN)
The Rockets now possess a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Owatonna for a AAAA Section 1 battle on Tuesday, January 9. John Marshall will battle a Huskies team coming off a 72-37 league loss to Lakeville North (Lakeville, MN). The Huskies record now stands at 4-8.
The Tigers (0-13) will now prepare for their battle against Northfield (Northfield, MN). The Raiders come into the non-league battle with a 3-9 record. In their last battle, Northfield trounced John Marshall (Rochester, MN), 73-62, in a non-league battle.
