Indiana High School Basketball - Alexandria-Monroe beaten by Lapel

In Saturday's non-league match, the host Lapel Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 48-31 triumph over the Alexandria-Monroe Tigers.

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Blackford Bruins (Hartford City, IN) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 9. Lapel will attempt to move on its 14-3 season record. The Bruins enter the match with a 14-4 record after their 37-30 league win over Oak Hill (Converse, IN).

With the defeat, Alexandria-Monroe moves to 14-4 on the year. The Tigers travel to Elwood (Elwood, IN) to confront the Panthers in a Central Indiana battle on Friday, January 12. The Panthers come into the battle with a record of 3-13. Elwood lost 43-38 in their recent non-league battle against Anderson Prep Academy (Anderson, IN)
