Georgia High School Basketball - Bacon County overwhelmed by Appling County

The Bacon County Raiders basketball team (Alma, GA), was routed 59-38 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Appling County Pirates (Baxley, GA)

The Pirates now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pierce County for a AA Region 3 battle on Friday, January 12.

The Raiders (4-7) will now prepare for their battle against Pierce County (Blackshear, GA). The Bears come into the non-league battle with a 7-5 record. In their last battle, Pierce County trounced Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA), 42-38, in a league battle.
