With the victory, Athens Christian improves its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Elbert County (Elberton, GA) to confront the Blue Devils in a A D1 Region 8 challenge on Friday, January 12. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 6-9.

Next up, the Lions confront the Oglethorpe County Patriots (Lexington, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Lakeview Academy will attempt to improve on its 11-1 season record.
