Ohio High School Basketball - Magnolia can't hold off Bridgeport

The Bridgeport Bulldogs basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Magnolia Blue Eagles to 43 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Caldwell for a Mid-Ohio Valley contest on Monday, January 8. Bridgeport will battle a Redskins team coming off a 68-25 non-league win over Cambridge (Cambridge, OH). The Redskins record now stands at 7-4.
The Blue Eagles (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against St. Marys (St. Marys, WV). The Blue Devils enter the non-league contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, St. Marys nudged Wheeling Central Catholic (Wheeling, WV), 76-53, in a non-league contest.
