Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the McCurtain Bulldogs (McCurtain, OK) and the host Canadian Cougars (Canadian, OK), saw McCurtain's basketball squad overcome Canadian by a tally of 50-41.

With the victory, McCurtain improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Gans (Gans, OK) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a record of 3-6. Gans lost 48-22 in their recent non-league challenge against Vian (Vian, OK)

Next up, the Cougars play the Stuart Hornets (Stuart, OK) in a Pittsburg Eight challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Canadian will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 38-34 non-league win over Strother (Seminole, OK).
