Canute Trojans (Canute, OK) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mooreland Bearcats (Mooreland, OK), 44-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Canute upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Trojans travel to Cheyenne/Reydon (Cheyenne, OK) to clash with the Bears in a Five County bout on Friday, January 12. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 8-6.

Next up, the Bearcats clash with the Buffalo Bison (Buffalo, OK) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Mooreland will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record.
