Caribou Vikings (Caribou, ME) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting John Bapst Memorial Crusaders (Bangor, ME), 78-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Caribou upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Vikings host Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME) to clash with the Ponies in a B North bout on Saturday, January 13. The Ponies go into the bout with a record of 1-7.

Next up, the Crusaders clash with the Ellsworth Eagles (Ellsworth, ME) in a B North bout, on Tuesday, January 9. John Bapst Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 8-0 record after their 62-17 league win over Houlton (Houlton, ME).
