The Central Hawks basketball team (Talbotton, GA), was overwhelmed 70-32 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Macon County Bulldogs (Montezuma, GA)

The Bulldogs now possess a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wilcox County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 9. Macon County will confront a Patriots team coming off a 52-44 non-league loss to Fitzgerald (Fitzgerald, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 11-1.

The Hawks (1-10) will now prepare for their battle against Taylor County (Butler, GA). The Vikings come into the A D2 Region 6 battle with a 13-3 record. In their last battle, Taylor County trounced Webster County (Preston, GA), 93-5, in a league battle.
