The Clarke Prep Gators topped the visiting Southern Academy Cougars basketball team by a final score of 38-26 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Gators face the Bessemer Academy Rebels (Bessemer, AL) in a AISA AAA Region 2 game, on Friday, January 12. Clarke Prep will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Rebels enter the game with a 5-6 record after their 45-25 league loss to Morgan Academy (Selma, AL).
