With the victory, Coahulla Creek upgrades its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Colts travel to Ridgeland (Rossville, GA) to play the Panthers in a AAA Region 6 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 6-9. Ridgeland lost 63-34 in their recent league bout against Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe (Fort Oglethorpe, GA)

Next up, the Lions play the Excel Christian Academy Eagles (Cartersville, GA) in a GAPPS - I-AA Region 1 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Unity Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 43-29 league loss to Johnson Ferry Christian Academy (Marietta, GA).
