Columbus Cougars (Columbus, MT) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Roundup Panthers (Roundup, MT), 72-8 in a league bout.

With the victory, Columbus upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign.

Next up, the Panthers play the Shepherd Mustangs (Shepherd, MT) in a B District 4 bout, on Saturday, January 13. Roundup will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 44-41 league win over Sweet Grass County (Big Timber, MT).
