In Saturday's non-league outing, the Fitch Falcons (Groton, CT) basketball squad edged the visiting Killingly Redmen (Killingly, CT), by a count of 39-35.
The Falcons (5-4) will now prepare for their outing against Woodstock Academy (Woodstock, CT). The Centaurs go into the non-league outing with a 9-1 record. In their last outing, Woodstock Academy held off Amistad (New Haven, CT), 46-21, in a non-league outing.
The Redmen now hold a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Ledyard for a non-league outing on Monday, January 8. Killingly will clash with a Colonels squad coming off a 61-24 non-league win over Plainfield (Central Village, CT). The Colonels record now stands at 4-3.
