With the victory, Fitzgerald improves its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Purple Hurricane travel to Berrien (Nashville, GA) to play the Rebels in a AA Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 7-7. Berrien lost 50-27 in their recent league challenge against Cook (Adel, GA)

Next up, the Patriots play the Macon County Bulldogs (Montezuma, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Wilcox County will attempt to improve on its 11-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 70-32 league win over Central (Talbotton, GA).
