In Saturday's league outing, the Prairie Pirates (Cottonwood, ID) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Genesee Bulldogs (Genesee, ID), by a margin of 70-44.

The Pirates (7-5) will now prepare for their outing against Clearwater Valley (Kooskia, ID). The Rams go into the 1A I White Pine outing with a 0-6 record. In their last outing, Clearwater Valley was trounced by Nezperce (Nezperce, ID), 76-11, in a non-league outing.

The Bulldogs now own a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Logos for a 1A I White Pine outing on Tuesday, January 9. Genesee will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 40-33 non-league win over St. Maries (St. Maries, ID). The Knights record now stands at 2-4.
