Springfield Bulldogs (Springfield, LA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Holden Rockets (Holden, LA), 65-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Springfield upgrades its record to 8-8 on the season. The Bulldogs host Loranger (Loranger, LA) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 4-12. Loranger lost 60-38 in their recent non-league bout against Parkview Baptist (Baton Rouge, LA)

Next up, the Rockets play the Albany Hornets (Albany, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Holden will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 14-5 record after their 41-29 non-league loss to Denham Springs (Denham Springs, LA).
