Versailles Tigers (Versailles, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Jackson Center Tigers (Jackson Center, OH), 48-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Versailles upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Tigers travel to Parkway (Rockford, OH) to play the Panthers in a Midwest bout on Thursday, January 11. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 7-3. Parkway won 34-25 in their recent non-league bout against Greenville (Greenville, OH)

Next up, the Tigers play the Russia Raiders (Russia, OH) in a Shelby County bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Jackson Center will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 69-31 league loss to Fort Loramie (Fort Loramie, OH).
