With the win, Wenonah upgrades its record to 18-6 on the season. The Dragons host Fairfield (Fairfield, AL) to clash with the Tigers in a 5A Area 9 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-10. Fairfield lost 66-32 in their recent league bout against Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove, AL)

Next up, the Cavaliers clash with the Pleasant Grove Spartans (Pleasant Grove, AL) in a 5A Area 9 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. John Carroll Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 12-7 record after their 65-62 non-league loss to Union Grove (McDonough, GA).
