Nazareth Academy Roadrunners (LaGrange Park, IL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers (Joliet, IL), 68-25 in a league bout.

With the victory, Nazareth Academy upgrades its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Roadrunners host Carmel (Mundelein, IL) to play the Corsairs in a East Suburban Catholic bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Corsairs come into the bout with a record of 11-7. Carmel lost 48-41 in their recent non-league bout against Washington (Washington, IL)

With the defeat, Joliet Catholic moves to 5-15 on the year. The Hilltoppers travel to St. Laurence (Burbank, IL) to face the Vikings in a non-league game on Monday, January 8. The Vikings enter the game with a record of 12-6. St. Laurence won 55-39 in their recent non-league game against Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL)
