West Virginia High School Basketball - Ripley succumbs to Lewis County

January 6, 2024: Ripley, WV 25271

The Lewis County Minutemen topped the host Ripley Vikings basketball team by a final score of 62-53 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Minutemen face the Lincoln Cougars (Shinnston, WV) in a Big Ten game, on Tuesday, January 9. Lewis County will attempt to move on its 10-0 season record. The Cougars enter the game with a 5-4 record after their 60-49 league loss to Elkins (Elkins, WV).

With the defeat, Ripley moves to 6-4 on the year. The Vikings travel to Nitro (Nitro, WV) to face the Wildcats in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 10. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 7-2. Nitro lost 60-46 in their recent league game against Wayne (Wayne, WV)
