The Nutley Maroon Raiders basketball team scored 37 points and held the visiting Livingston Lancers to 29 in the Maroon Raiders non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Maroon Raiders now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cedar Grove for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 9. Nutley will battle a Panthers team coming off a 40-28 non-league win over Millburn (Millburn, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 2-4.
The Lancers (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Bernards (Bernardsville, NJ). The Mountaineers enter the non-league contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Bernards ran past North Warren Regional (Blairstown, NJ), 59-35, in a non-league contest.
