Ohio High School Basketball - Western Reserve topped by Mineral Ridge

The Mineral Ridge Rams basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the host Western Reserve Blue Devils to 54 in the Rams league victory on Saturday.

The Rams now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jackson-Milton for a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet contest on Monday, January 8. Mineral Ridge will battle a Bluejays team coming off a 39-22 league win over McDonald (McDonald, OH). The Bluejays record now stands at 7-4.

The Blue Devils (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Lowellville (Lowellville, OH). The Rockets come into the Mahoning Valley - Scarlet contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Lowellville dropped by John F. Kennedy Catholic (Warren, OH), 72-22, in a non-league contest.
