The Neligh-Oakdale Warriors basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Stuart Broncos to 36 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Warriors now sport a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wausa for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 9. Neligh-Oakdale will battle a Vikings team coming off a 48-37 non-league loss to Osmond/Randolph (Osmond, NE). The Vikings record now stands at 2-9.
The Broncos (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Chambers/Wheeler Central (Chambers, NE). The Renegades enter the D2 District 7 contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Chambers/Wheeler Central ran past Anselmo-Merna (Merna, NE), 47-42, in a non-league contest.
